Staying Connected

This month’s letter falls at a time in our lives that likely none of us have ever experienced before. The worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 has altered the way we live our lives and interact with others. March has become a time of closures, cancellations and social distancing. The impact of this epidemic reaches us all in different ways: some of you are battling this on the front lines, some of you have lost your jobs, some of you now work from home, some of you have Seniors that will not finish out the end of their school year as you all hoped, dreamed and planned. And the list goes on from there. In a time of uncertainty, I would like to offer you a few thoughts.

Please know that I am here to support and assist you in any way. Even in a time of social distancing, I am still the Godparent of your home! I am always available for any questions or concerns that you may have about your home. This may be a time to brainstorm home improvements that you have been considering, discuss refinancing your mortgage, or learn more about regular preventive maintenance in your home. I am available by text, phone call, email or even video call.

More importantly, I am here to support you and your family outside the scope of real estate. As you know, my business is built on long-term relationships and, while helping my clients with a variety of real estate needs is fun, my passion for being a realtor stems from the connections I enjoy with all of you! So, during this space of spending more time at home and separated from others, I’m available to connect even if just to chat! I will be doing my best over the coming weeks to stay in touch with all of you and just check in. Feel free to call or text me at any time!

In the meantime, may I offer some suggestions for how we can all use this unique time that we have been given? I would love to hear your ideas also!

  • Reach out to those people you don’t see or talk to often.
  • Go for a walk, a run or a bike ride. We can still exercise and practice safe social distancing!
  • Read a book.
  • Engage in something creative like painting or drawing, start to learn the instrument you’ve always wanted to play, or work a puzzle.
  • Walk away from all the screens. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with news and social media.
  • Practice gratitude.

That last one may be my personal favorite, and I’m so grateful to be part of the Hindsite family, especially as our 30th birthday approaches this year. It has become our tradition to celebrate our birthday with cake, so this month’s Item of Value is just that! Go to www.HindsiteAustin.com and register for your chance to win a delicious cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Stay safe my friends, and remember I am always available. When social distancing is in the rearview mirror, perhaps we can sit down together over cake and share our stories!

It’s a good life!

My Story

My background prior to real estate in sales and education prepared me to be great help to my clients, helping them understand and navigate the ever changing Austin real estate market. I approach each transaction with the intent to meet and exceed my clients expectations. Beyond each transaction, my greatest desire is to build long-term relationships with my clients that allow me to be a valuable resource for them as a home owner or real estate investor.

Keep Cool!

One of my favorite vendors, Altruistic AC & Heating, has a great offer exclusively for my Hindsite clients.

We all know how important it is to have reliable A/C in the heat of a Texas summer (which will be here before we know it), and the best way to do that is to take good care of your unit!
