It’s been quite the year of change with modifying our lifestyle to adapt to the pandemic. Many of us are working from home in our makeshift home office, creating mini learning environments around the house for our kids to be able to school from home, or entertaining extended family or close friends with safe social distancing at home. At this point, you are probably assessing, “Is our house really ideal for our new situation?” or “How can we make our house more comfortable with all of us here?”
You are noticing small things like boxes sitting in the garage that never got unpacked, the leaky faucet that you hear dripping in the background, or the chirp-chirp-chirp of the smoke alarm battery that needs replacing. For these small projects, you might be able roll your sleeves up and conquer the task or find a quick YouTube video to help you fix the leaky faucet. If you are not up for the task, I recommend our sister company, Hindsite 20/20 Property Management, that can help you with any repair requests through an easy online portal.
You are also seeing the larger projects like your faded deck that needs updating, your outdated kitchen or bathroom that could use a remodel, or maybe your flooring or carpet that needs replacement. With larger projects, I am available to guide you in determining what remodel projects are going to give you the best return on your investment along with finding cost effective superior products and trusted vendors who provide quality work.
As the Godparent of your House, I look forward to assisting you in making your home as comfortable as possible. This month’s Item of Value is a reminder that I’m here to help you remove what you don’t want, create what you do want, and re-imagine your space. Let’s jump on a call/Zoom call or I can swing by for a brief visit and talk about the projects on your to-do list.
It’s a good life!
